Amanda Heck is a photographer who uses a variety of mediums (4x5, 35mm and Polaroid film) to produce uncontrived and unconventional images of people, places, cities and nature. In locations both gritty and sublime, her work is colorfully raw and vibrantly luminous. Her photographs have a sensibility of being otherworldly and wrapped in memory, some place one knows they have been, an image that recaptures a subconscious feeling.

Growing up in the Southern California sun, she moved to New York to study at the School of Visual Arts, where she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts Photography in 2012 and continues to live and work in NYC.
